What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a heightened state of suggestibility, which refers to the quality or state of being suggestible. Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnotic techniques intended to move a client toward health and wholeness.
What does Hypnosis feel like?
Hypnosis doesn't feel like anything special. Most of my clients say they were so relaxed during a session, but hypnosis is not sleep.
Who can be Hypnotized?
Almost anyone with normal intelligence who can follow instructions can be hypnotized. In fact, hypnosis is a natural and frequent state of mind.
Is Hypnosis Safe?
Yes. hypnosis has been accepted by the American Medical Association since 1958 and is used for all sorts of issues such as helping children control epileptic seizures, overcoming infertility, IBS, controlling or eliminating pain and skin ailments, finding the cause of depression, anxiety and bad habits and the list goes on and on.
Is Hypnosis Mind-Control?
No. You are always in control. You will hear everything your hypnotist says and remember everything.
Do Online Sessions Really Work?
Yes. There are number of hypnotists including me offering online hypnosis sessions. Online sessions are as effective as in-person sessions.
What if I get stuck in Hypnosis?
No one has ever been stuck in hypnosis. That happens only in fictions.
What kind of setting do I need for an online session?
You will need a quiet and relaxing place with no interruptions. Some of my clients lie down on a couch or bed. Others sit down in a recliner with a neck support. I also ask you to set your laptop/tablet/phone where I can see your face. You'll also need a secure internet connection.
How long is a hypnosis session?
My session typically takess 60 to 90 minutes.
How many sessions do I need?
It varies, but usually it takes 4 to 6 sessions.
What can Hypnosis work with?
Almost any personal issue. Phobias and fears, stress, and anxiety-related problems almost always respond well. It also works well with stress management, self-confidence, addictive behaviors, childhood trauma and many more.
